REC (Renewable Energy Corporation) needed a set of characters to use in their internal communication. We wanted them to fit in with the earlier illustrations we have done for REC, and used the same square forms and isometric projection. The cubic shape also make them a very versatile tool for REC to play around with. The Rexies are now in use in Norway, Singapore and USA.
